Who are the Voiceover Gurus?

LINDA BRUNO

Founder, Voiceover Actress and Coach

Voice of Disney Jr Asia, HSN and many others

Ever since I was a young girl, I dreamt of using my voice. Beginning with annoying my mother with constant funny noises to finally putting it to use on stage in Musical Theater growing up. I fell in love with this craft over 30 years ago. Wow!

From studio setup to building your first demo to marketing and auditioning, I’ll show you what has worked for me. And what has allowed me to turn this into my ONLY source of income. I enjoy finding YOUR strongest asset and then guiding you to capitalize on it and make a lucrative career out of it.

Some of my largest client notables include McDonald’s, AT&T, Stride Gum, Network voice for HSN, Network voice for Disney Jr Asia, Fandango, Pfizer, Walmart, Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond, Network Voice for TLC and The Weather Channel,  and many others. I’ve worked with some of the largest companies in the world as well as the smaller local businesses who also help sustain a career. I can give you the insight on both worlds as well as agents and self-promotion.

I’ve been lucky enough to work in just about every avenue of Voiceover. My nickname from my agents is Renaissance Woman because I can perform Commercials, TV Promos, Narrations, Characters, Voice Recognition, Auto Spots, On Hold Messaging, Voice of Goddess for Live Shows, etc. So I can coach you in just about any arena you have an interest.

ALYSSA JAYSON

Actress, Recording Artist and Coach

I began in this industry at age 4, as the quintessential “performing kid.” I would tell anyone who asked that I was going to be a “ famous tap dancer!”  And I was very goal-oriented too. By age 7, I had already tap-danced at Radio City Music Hall for a taping of the game show, Hollywood Squares. The performing arts WERE my childhood; from dancing to acting to singing, to playing the trumpet…. If there is a way to express emotion through sound, language or movement; I’m into it!

And that interest has now expanded into teaching others. We are so emotive in our everyday lives and it is often difficult to translate that in-front of the camera, on-stage or behind the microphone. My approach to acting has always been to find the connections between script and self, to make a moment more human and believable.

As an actor, my resumé includes roles on ABCTV’s All My Children, various independent films, off-broadway & regional theatre performances. Additionally, a voiceover student of Linda Bruno, I’ve been a voice actor for radio spots, animated characters, on-hold messaging and narrative film. Most recently, I wrote, recorded and released my 2nd studio album, “Please Be True” which charted around the country on many public and independent radio stations.

Beginning with imagination and improvisation exercises that help you to break down that wall we all tend to hide behind. I’ll guide you to be more present, truthful, and ultimately more believable onstage, onscreen or behind the mic. Whether already pursuing a professional career, looking to explore a new interest or simply build confidence – I will help you find your inner actor to create more connected, truthful, and dynamic performances from behind the mic.

KEVIN KILPATRICK

Voiceover Actor,  Producer and Coach

Ever since stepping onto a stage at age 5 in Illinois, Kevin Kilpatrick had an unshakable

desire to perform. Throughout his school years and into college, he was always acting;

even attending college on a theatre scholarship in Arkansas. After college and a

successful 18-year career as a radio personality in Miami, Kevin made the leap to full-

time voice actor in 2004.

Today, from his Nashville studio, Kevin is an Emmy-nominated and multiple SOVAS

award-winning voice actor, producer and coach. He’s known for his documentary work

on National Geographic, REELZ and PBS. He’s voiced commercials for GE, Hard

Mountain Dew, Aleve, Cracker Barrel Cheese, American Express, FedEx, Nutri-System

and others. He’s proud to be a regular narrator for corporate clients Apple, Pepsi,

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Pizza Hut, Kia, Lowe’s and countless others.

One of his “bread and butter” genres though is Automotive. Kevin can be heard

nationwide in over 50 markets helping automotive dealers “move metal.” Kevin is also

heard regularly on radio stations throughout the country as the imaging voice of the

station.

When Kevin is not in the booth performing, he’s usually producing audio or working with

others as voice-acting coach. Having trained with elite acting coaches himself, Kevin is

passionate about helping talent of all skill levels improve.

Another fun fact about him is that he is an avid sports fan. Away from the studio, chances are you will find Kevin on the golf course, tennis courts or at the ball field. Want to talk sports? Kevin is the guy you want to chat with, preferably over a nice glass of bourbon.

DAVID GOLDBERG

Producer, Voice Actor and Studio Owner

David Goldberg began his entrepreneurial career at fourteen, spinning records for friend's parties. Not long after that, a company called Satellite Entertainment was born. When David entered Hofstra University in 1985, the company was a thriving event-planning business and included a network of decorators, caterers, and other entertainers. He frequently DJ'd parties at Hofstra USA and at other on-campus events. At Hofstra, he sold the company's assets and bookings to two entertainment companies.

David has extensive audio and video engineering experience dating back to the late 1980s when editing was still performed with razor blades on reel-to-reel tape. In 1991, he worked on the team that developed SoundLink, Korg's first digital audio workstation, a world-renowned manufacturer of advanced electronic music and professional audio products. In his role, he supported TV and radio stations, post-production facilities, and recording studios throughout the US and Japan, allowing him to build a network of contacts that would later become an invaluable resource.

David founded Digital Waterworx Corporate Communication Production in 1993, located on Long Island in a 6,500 square foot facility, equipped with 2 audio recording studios, a live isolation studio booth, 2 video studios, as well as 2 video editing suites. Today, the company produces radio and television commercials, corporate videos, audiobooks, podcasts, live events, and other creative media services. Since its inception, the company has worked with an international client base that exceeds 4,000.

David can also personally be heard as the voice on hundreds of radio and TV commercials, including the US Army, Coors, PayPal, Chase, and General Motors, and is a prominent voice on one of the leading streaming music services. He is frequently called upon to be the Voice of God at prestigious events, including The New Yorker Festival, National Magazine Awards, One Show Awards, and Angel Ball.
